Our region’s livestock producers are starting to buck the trend in local agriculture by showing growth in the number of animals and farms, as they capitalize on new markets and the interest in locally grown and all natural foods. But they need help to reach their potential.
Our third Northeast Livestock Expo promises to be another landmark event for our state and region's livestock producers offering opportunities for Sheep, Boer Goat and Beef producers to market their animals and bring together their youth for a weekend-long learning experience.
In addition to the Northeast Livestock Expo providing opportunities for these farms to buy and sell some premier breeding stock and meat animals, we are inviting the public to see, learn about and gain a better understanding of our livestock commodities.
