Sheep Events and Sale Information
The MSBA is pleased to host the fourth annual Purebred Sheep and Club Lamb Sale in conjunction with the Northeast Livestock
Expo. The sales Committee extends an invitation to sheep producers to enter consignments in both the pure bred and Club Lamb
sale. We will be promoting the sale locally, regional and nationally as well as broadcasting real time Internet bidding by DV
Auction. Information and instructions for PRE-registering is available at

Transportation of purchased animals can be arranged west to CA, north to Canada, south to TX and all points in between.

Time/Place:
The sale will take place at the Windsor Fair Grounds in Windsor Maine on May 22, 2010 starting at 1:30pm
Club Lamb Jack Pot show will be held in August 2010 (location to be selected later this spring) offering cash
prizes, lambs must be purchased at the NELE sale to compete for cash prizes in the Jack Pot show and will be tagged and DNA
samples taken on Sunday May 23 from noon-1pm (along with tagging for 4-H market lambs).

Campers:
Camper space will be available on site and hotel accommodations are available nearby.
Insurance:
All Exhibitors and Consignor’s with livestock at the Expo are required to provide proof of liability insurance with a
minimum of $300,000 coverage.
Send Certificate of Insurance or copy of Maine Association of Livestock
Exhibitors Membership card with your entries. Check the health and insurance
requirements page for more information.
